GENIUS FLIGHT NAVIGATION

We realised that LIDAR and STEREO sensors have their own benefits and drawbacks for navigation. So we overcome this. By using both. Our STEREO algorithms take care of directional flight while our LIDAR algorithms work constantly to ensure obstacle avoidance is at its best. 

Add that to our optimised on-board illumination, we created a flying vehicle that can fly Beyond Visual Line of Sight in the most remote places no human can venture safely into.

 

ACCURATE HEIGHT CONTROL

Conventional barometric pressure sensors and even off the shelf range meters are not able to provide accurate height readings over uneven, flowing surfaces. 

Our unique altitude algorithms together with a second laser rangefinder provide consistent and dependable height control of the vehicle. In low constrained spaces, this is all that stands between success and failure.

 

EASY DEPLOYMENT ANYWHERE

We have engineered our airframe to be integrated load bearing members. Simply put, this allows the vehicle to be suspended by a long tether from the ground.

The result is that our UAV can be lowered down into the desired flight space without any human or equipment insertion. With a robust tether mount, the UAV can be remotely deployed into confined access tunnels over long periods without concerns on structural integrity.
